We aim to increase the interaction between humans and other species by using recycled materials, we choose film reel cases and props which are no longer used, to make this installation.


  • CHALLENGE

  • We are trying to create an ideal situation in which human beings and nature can exist harmoniously together. The set includes two pieces. One of them is for animals and plants. We pile reel cases up and ring them with recycled acrylic to make it into a bird nest, feeder and cat cave. Also, the prop plant and its plate on the top can function as a container as well as a filter. When it rains, the water can be collected and purified, then the clean water goes down through the tunnels to the bottom container, from which wild animals can drink. The other is a stool. Film cases and acrylic are lined in a row for people to sit.
