We saw a gap in the market, there was no electric two-wheeler in the light, clean and high-quality segment, the place we wanted to be! With industry-leading range, cargo capacity and riding ergonomics, the Åik is a heavy-duty transportation tool with unsurpassed capabilities. Featuring hundreds of utility combinations to pull, stow and carry heavy loads. The strong motor provides 100 Nm of torque for convenient pedal assistance, a must when carrying bulky and heavy loads. Easy to ride, easy to maintain Coming from a background of high-performance electric motorcycles, the engineering process of the Åik has been exciting. Understanding the challenges of e-bikes used in commercial fleets, we have chosen to use many components and materials from the motorbikes, resulting in robustness, but also in a vehicle that requires less maintenance than anything else. Choose quality over quantity No matter the object or circumstance, when it comes to sustainability you can’t go wrong by choosing quality over quantity. In our case, this means choosing the most durable materials when designing our bikes.

Batteries are easily connected in parallel, choose between one, two or three batteries. Three batteries provide a range up to 360 km (224 miles) and battery capacity at 2250 Wh. The battery also work as a power bank, enabling riders to plug in and power electronic devices straight from the battery on the go. All batteries are easily locked and secured to prevent theft. Clean, electric energy has numerous advantages. The fact that there’s no pollution or fumes and that you can charge your bike with renewable energy (or even with solar panels) through the lifetime of the bike, is true evidence of sustainability. Since there are no fluids, grease, gasoline or oil, the bike doesn’t suck up dirt like a magnet, meaning it’s more like a bicycle. Ultimately, all things must come to an end. This does not however mean there can not be a new beginning, therefore we're offering our customers pre-owned certified bikes. The re:CAKE bikes has undergone a comprehensive inspection with the CAKE seal of approval. The green front fender discreetly signaling the deliberate choice made by its new owner.
