  • Mobile phones are vulnerable to cyber security threats, today’s smartphones are designed to continually listen. We don’t always know what software is on them and what they are doing, we can’t always be sure who has access and control of the camera and microphones. These risks mean your phone cannot be taken into sensitive and secure locations, disconnecting you from essential work and personal information. The design had to solve this unique challenge by suppressing the phone's ability to eavesdrop on conversations, audio presentation and collect video, while still being connected and available to the user.

  • The pBox solves this problem by delivering a sophisticated phone enclosure that actively suppresses the smartphone’s microphones and cameras. The pBox also allows you access to your smartphone, when needed. You can remain in contact, manage your life and remain aware of external activity. The portable nature of the case means your smartphone can be with you in a secure location and remain connected, but you can choose where and when to interact with your mobile phone. The portable enclosure keeps your smartphone charged and supports modern devices at the same time that it provides situational security.

  • The pBox solves a unique problem as the smartphone needs to be controlled and secure, while concurrently being connected and available. Audio, power and video functions differ between smartphones, but users need one portable enclosure. The design must meet rigorous security and safety standards, while retaining a form and user experience suitable for diverse workplace environments. The design has been refined to improve quality and be built at a significantly lower price, allowing this saving to be passed directly to customers. These innovations are world-firsts, with the Australian designed and manufactured pBox exported to approved markets.

  • pBox is designed to provide an intuitive user experience, it is intended to be somewhat obvious in its presentation. The pBox is visually welcoming and easy to manage, with a viewing panel to safely check messages and features a display with missed call and UI icons. The acoustic suppression design addresses the most stringent security requirements to prevent eavesdropping in highly sensitive and classified environments. The secure supply chain assures the design and manufacture of the device protects customer information against the latest cyber security threats. Modern smartphones are continually rolling out new features and interfaces, the flexible pBox design combines active and passive security measures and supports modern Apple and Android phones. With a design that adapts to constant technology change, customers realise a strong return on investment. The adaptability of the pBox means it can be used widely in the organisations to protect staff and guests alike. The impact of investing in Australian suppliers has led to improved skills in electronic manufacturing and assembly, industrial and mechanical design and testing organisations. Industry Capability Network research shows that manufacturing business retained in Australia directly flows through to benefits in additional tax revenue, value-added generation and full-time job creation
