As the Business and Markets Director for Australia and NZ and the Australian Leader for Host Cities, Penny is a strong passionate advocate for sustainable outcomes for cities, renewable infrastructure, connected corridors and communities with a proven track record in leading the city and place narrative from planning through to delivery on major projects across Australia and Globally, including Brisbane Metro, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, ANU Masterplan, Cross River Rail and North Brisbane Infrastructure.

Prior to relocating to Brisbane. Penny was the design manager on the Queen Elizabeth Park for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Penny led the design, planning and integration of the South Park which included the main stadium, Aquatics Centre, temporary and permanent venues, infrastructure and overlay.
She was part of the 2016 Observers Program to Rio De Janeiro for the Paralympic Games and has been a big advocate around the Games being a strong catalyst for Legacy for cities, towns and regions. In 2023 she wrote a thought piece around mobility being the anchor for the Brisbane 2032 Legacy with a focus on mass transit, supply chain, education, and innovation, leveraging global interest to disrupt and challenge to ensure a step change and positive legacy well beyond 2032.

Penny is the Queensland Board Director for the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, ensuring ABCC continues to bring businesses together to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and genuine partnerships, nurturing Australia and the UK’s longstanding relationship from the macro down to the micro across government, business, and people.
