Paul is an accomplished designer, business developer, advocate and mentor with extensive international experience in many industry sectors.

Educated in Industrial Design and Engineering, Paul’s career began in 1971 as a trainee in the Caroma Design Team, and progressed to leadership roles in design, R&D, and marketing at Caroma and Simpson (Electrolux), including a pioneering Australia-China Joint Venture in 1985 in Tianjin.

Since 1989 Paul has founded nine design-centric businesses, and in 2004 he focussed on a global health and safety problem after reading of a warehouse fatality in Canada. The world-first design solution was the Australian Good Design Award Winning Protect-it Column Guards, made in South Australia and exported to over 60 countries. 

Paul’s design contributions over five decades span hundreds of products, including winners of 1974 Dunhill Design Prize, 1982 Prince Philip Design Prize, multiple Good Design Awards and Business Awards.
