BUILT ENVIRONMENT DESIGN JUROR

Ludo Campbell-Reid is an internationally recognised urban design and city strategy leader with over 30 years of experience shaping cities across the UK, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.

Often described as a “City Doctor,” Ludo works with governments and city leaders on complex urban transformation challenges, focusing on how design, governance and investment come together to shape better city outcomes.

He has held senior leadership roles in London, Auckland and Melbourne, including founding Urban Design London and establishing the Auckland Design Office following the creation of the city’s ‘super city’. His work has spanned major city centre regeneration, transport-led transformation and design-led policy reform.

Ludo now leads Ludo Campbell-Reid CITIES, advising on major urban transformation initiatives across Australia and internationally. He is particularly interested in the role of design as a strategic tool in shaping how cities function, perform and are experienced.
