Anver joined Siemens in 1980 and held various project and general management roles within Industry in South Africa, UAE and Bahrain before joining Siemens in Australia in 2004.

Anver has a broad range of experience and knowledge within Siemens including: Leading the PD LD Project Management Team for all LD projects. He is a Certified Senior Project Manager at Siemens and has overseen the execution of various industry and logistics projects in mining, steel industry, PCS7 automation, airport baggage handling and cargo handling projects.

Prior to joining Siemens Australia, Anver executed O&G Projects in Abu Dhabi and was the Siemens One Project Manager for building the Bahrain Formula One race track in Manama in 2004. In South Africa he was the SA responsible PM for the Saldanha Steel Mill project (consortium with Siemens AG, Mannesmann Demag). Furthermore he held the position of Engineering Manager and Manager of Industry Projects at Siemens Limited in South Africa.

Anver completed his Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Cape Town, a Management Diploma at the University of South Africa and his Master of Business Administration degree at Deakin University in Melbourne.
